Begonia Double White Flower Seeds (Begonia Tuberosa) 30+Seeds
Begonia (Begonia Tuberosa Double White) - Begonia Tuberosa is such a versatile plant and a great performer! It can be grown from Begonia seeds, and forms a small compact plant that gives a wonderful display of double white blooms all summer long. Begonia plants prefer indirect light or dappled light and give nice color in areas where many flowers cannot perform well. Begonias are lovely when planted in the flower garden in a mass grouping, and Tuberous Begonias are great in containers and baskets for patios and porches that don't get direct sunlight. Begonia seeds are small and must be started indoors. Start the Begonia flower seed 12 weeks or more before the last frost. Many gardeners will start the seeds even as early as January for blooms in June. Press the Begonia seeds onto sterile potting mixture, but do not cover the seeds. Water from underneath, and cover the flower seed tray with either glass or plastic wrap to help hold the moisture in. Once germination begins, remove the glass or plastic and place the tray under lights or in a bright window. Harden Begonia plants off for 10 - 14 days before planting outside. If plants become scraggly pinch the growing tips back to encourage bushy growth.
