English Yew Tree Seeds (Taxus baccata) 20+Seeds
A robust conifer, widely distributed troughout Europe, east to the Caspian Sea and in the Atlas Mountains in northwestern Africa. It forms a large shrub or small tree that can reach an age of several thousand years and quite large proportions. The leaves are narrow and needle-like and very dark green. Female trees form seeds with a bright red coat that is popular with birds but has also been made into jam. However, all other parts of the tree are toxic. Taxus baccata makes an excellent ornamental for temperate climates. It is easily trimmed into any shape and perfect for hedges. Unlike most conifers, the Yew will regrow even from older wood.
