Moroccan Cypress Tree Seeds (Cupressus dupreziana var. atlantica) 20+Seeds
A very attractive, medium-sized conifer native to the High Atlas Mountains between 1100 and 2000 m, where small remnant populations of old trees survive, endangered by degradation of its habitat through human activities. It grows a straight, conical crown to 35 m tall. It is similar and related to C. sempervirens but easily distinguished by its bluish foliage and smaller cones. It makes a wonderful, drought and frost tolerant ornamental for temperate climates in USDA Zones 7 to 10 and has straight, durable, aromatic wood. Seeds may benefit from cold stratification for a month.
