Southern Cigar Tree Seeds (Catalpa bignonioides) 15+Seeds
A regal, medium-sized, deciduous tree to about 18 m tall, native to the southeastern United States in Alabama, Mississippi, northwestern Florida, southwestern Georgia and perhaps Louisiana, where it grown mainly in riverine forests. It forms a stocky trunk that holds a broad crown with large, light green leaves to 20 cm in length. The beautiful, white flowers are held in large clusters and are followed by long, thin pods with small, winged seeds. It makes an excellent ornamental hardy to USDA Zone 5.
